What is included in the tour?

Helmet, headlight, crampons, and all safety equipment.

Transfers to and from the Jokulsarlon parking lot.

What should I wear/bring?

Proper dressing according to weather conditions is essential to feel comfortable during your trip.

We recommend wearing warm layers and a waterproof jacket and trousers. Also, it is good to have a warm hat and gloves as on the way, it can be windy.

There will be many photo opportunities on tour, so be sure you take along a camera and tripod.

Bottle of water, some snacks if you need them.

How long is the total time inside the cave?

The regular time is 1 hour, but it's fine if people want to stay longer.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations received more than 24 hours before departure are fully refunded.

Cancellations received less than 24 hours before departure will be charged full price.

All cancellations of tours must go through our office by email to info@adventurepoint.is.

If a tour gets canceled by the operator due to bad weather or a closed road, you can choose another tour or get a full refund of the tour.

Are ice caves available during the summer?

Ice caves are available from October to April.

​

Is the ice cave crowded?

We can not guarantee that our group will be the only one in the ice cave.

Due to the ice caves' popularity, we will most likely meet groups from other companies inside.

I'm a guide, and I have a group of 10+ people. Is it possible to book a tour with you?

Yes, it is possible. Just email us the number of people and the tour date.
