Gunnar Karl Sigurðsson
Leading guide, founder and owner of Adventure Point
Gunnar was born and raised in the Oraefi area near the glacier. He lived a long time in Reykjavik and always wanted to back to Oraefi, so he built his own house in his home village Hof to live and work at the glacier. In 2016 he started his own company.
He has certificates to the standards of AIMG (Association of Icelandic Mountain Guides) in glacier guiding, glacier safety, hard ice and wilderness first responder.
Olga Strakhova
Photographer, drone pilot, video editor and co-owner of Adventure Point
Olga Strakhova is a professional photographer with an eye for beauty and detail. Before she moved to Iceland in 2019, she worked for 4 years as a photographer in movie production, where she developed her skills and personal style using Dutch art and cinematography as inspiration.
